INDIANS IMPRESSIVE IN WIN OVER GRAHAM...

STORY BY ROB KISER - PIQUA DAILY CALL
The Piqua boys soccer team broke out on offense Saturday, recording an impressive 7-1 win over Graham, led by a Kory Yohey hat trick.

“We have been working hard in practice on our offense,” Piqua coach Chad Haemmerle said. “We have been working on finishing and putting the ball in the back of the net. Hopefully, what we did today will carry over into a big game with Troy Tuesday and give us some momentum.”

Danny Henry opened the scoring on a cross from Brian Langston.

Graham answered to tie the game 1-1, before Piqua came through with the final six goals of the game.

John Hanselman gave Piqua the lead for good off a hustle play by Dallas Hunt.

Kory Yohey followed with two goals to make it 4-1 at halftime.

The first came on an assist from Henry, while the second goal was unassisted.

Piqua continued the onslaught in the second half.

Ryne Davis had the first goal in the second half, scoring off a Matt DeNise assist.

Yohey and DeNise added unassisted goals to finish off the scoring.

Piqua will host Troy Tuesday night.
