INDIANS STRUGGLE AGAINST OXFORD-TALAWANDA...

STORY BY ROB KISER - PIQUA DAILY CALL
The good news for the Piqua boys soccer team is that they will be back in action tonight.

Coming off a 2-0 win over Troy, the Indians lost 7-0 to Oxford-Talawanda Saturday afternoon at Wertz Stadium.

“Oxford-Talawanda is 8-1,” Piqua coach Chad Haemmerle said. “There is no doubt they are a good team.

“But, they are no better than a number of teams we have played.

“We just didn’t show up. I can’t really explain it. We need to turn things around Monday (tonight) against Tri-Village.”

Piqua travels to Tri-Village tonight.
