PIQUA BOYS NINTH AT VANDALIA..

VANDALIA - The Piqua boys track and field team finished ninth at the Vandalia-Butler Invitational Saturday, while the girls were seventh.
The boys were led by a win in the 800 Meter Relay as the team of James Dunn, Isiah Blair, Chad Warner, Logan Johnson beat the rest of the competition with a time of 1:35.58.
Logan Johnson had a big day for the Indians as he placed in two individual events and was also a member of the third place 4x400 Meter Relay team along with Isiah Blair, James Dunn and Kevin Deaton. Johnson took fifth in the 110 Meter Hurdle (17.33) and fifth in the 300 Meter Hurdles (44.63). In all, Johnson placed in four events at the Invitational.
James Dunn place in three events, the 4x800 and 4x400 Meter Relays and was fourth in the 100 Meter Dash (11.85).
Piqua's 3200 Meter Relay team of Kyle Gambill, Josh Bowman, David Barbee and Kurt Grove finished fifth in the time of 8:45.20.
