HIGH JUMP DUO TAKE FIRST AND SECOND...

Piqua junior Gomez White and senior David Rolf put on an impressive show at the Tipp City Invitational on Saturday.

White won the event with a leap of 6'2", while Rolf took second at 6'0". This is Rolf's first year on the track.

Ryan Walters also had a solid individual effort in the high jump. Walter's leap of 19'4" was good for third place.

Also taking third was the 800 Meter Relay team of Isiah Blair, James Dunn, Justin Hemm and Mike Mayor. The team ran the race in 1:34.42. All four runners also combined to take fourth in the 400 Meter Relay with a time of 45.41.

Taking fifth for Piqua in the 3200 Meter Relay in the time of 8:55.29 were Kyle Gambill, Cody Owen, Kurt Grove and Josh Bowman.

Piqua took eight out of 15 teams with 39 team points, while Wayne finished on top with 142 points.
