TROY - Piqua senior Katie Wright and junior Diamond Clemons, while not pleased with their distances in the shot put and discus, combined to score 30 points for the Lady Indians in those two events and Kayle Quinter added two more with a seventh in the discus, accounting for half of Piqua's final total.

Clemons led the Lady Indians, winning the discus with a toss of 99-8, while Wright was third with a throw of 93-10.

Wright just missed winning the shot put, finishing second with a put of 31-6 1-2, less than two inches behind the winner. Clemons gave Piqua a 2-3 finish with a put of 31-6 1-2.

Piqua also got a secnd-place finish from Brianna Saine in the 100, 13.41.
