The Piqua Indian Athletic Boosters is an organization geared solely towards unifying our High School and Junior High Sports teams into one fundraising and marketing sports entity. In recent years we have been involved in providing over $500,000 dollars to our sports organizations, created numerous fundraising opportunities for our sports teams, developed the website www.piquasports.com, twice organized the Cincinnati Bengals basketball game at Garbry Gymnasium, welcomed comedian Heywood Banks to the Hartzell Center for the Performing Arts at Piqua High School and created the “Tailgate Party” prior to the first home football game of the year. PIAB is also responsible for the production of the award winning-Fall and Winter Sports Programs. Additionally, we have successfully provided a 501C3 tax-free status for Piqua Athletics. This designation played an integral part in field turf fundraising efforts for Alexander Stadium/Purk Field.

In short the Piqua Indian Athletic Boosters (PIAB) is an organization by the people for the people. Our organization has created a platform for constant and regular communication between sports teams and the athletic department. In doing so, we have been able to build on our collective strengths and greatly reduce outside entities from preying on our corporate partners.

PIAB is comprised of representatives (Governor) from every sport as well as the Executive Council made up of a President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. We meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the High School Library and our meetings are open to the public.

Countless opportunities exist for those who would like to get involved in Piqua Athletics. Depending upon your level of interest we have positions open for game day staff, event workers or spirit store staff at Alexander Stadium/Purk Field. If you would like to gain experience in a more technical field we have opportunities in copywriting, website design, photography and videography. If you have a special skill or talent consider working with PIAB as all our fundraising efforts go directly to our sports teams. To get involved, please contact any Governor or Executive Council member or attend any of our regular PIAB meetings.

Piqua Athletics has benefited greatly over the years by countless giving people. Giving of their time, their generosity and of their talents. PIAB would like to thank those contributors of the past, present and those coming in the future.
