PIQUA NOT AT FULL STRENGTH IN LOSS TO BEAVERCREEK...

The Piqua volleyball team lost to Beavercreek 25-16, 26-28, 25-20, 15-25, 15-7 Tuesday in GWOC crossover action.

“It was a tough night without Ashley Belisle,” Piqua coach Chris Davis said. “She was sick and not able to play in the match.”

Sara Keck had 21 digs, 17 kills and three aces, while Chelsea Hostetter had 39 assists, three kills, six digs and two aces.

Ashley Kraft had 11 kills and five digs, while Cassi Curtis had 12 digs. Shelby Sullenberger had six kills.

The JV lost 25-21, 25-15, while the freshman won 25-18, 25-20.

Piqua will host Lehman Thursday.
